TFX Boring Bars
The TFX Boring Bars are designed to accept either a flat top or a chip-controlled insert. These bars are equally effective for internal bores as well as O.D. turning. The offset head permits an easy disposal of chips and a more than adequate coolant flow. The TFX bars have ground shank diameter for use in round holders and four flats for use on a flat surface - such as a turret-post holder. When held in a round holder their 3-point contact assures solid clamping and maximum holding power. In addition, the set screw flats place the cutting edge on the exact centerline of the bar.
