This tape is comprised of a tissue carrier backing and a repulpable adhesive designed to offer high shear strength, high tack and heat resistance required to perform at temperatures of up to 400 deg F/200 deg C. The tissue backing is thin and porous to allow adhesive penetration of sheet, and engineered for optimum strength for every type of splice. Mounted on a paper liner, this tape is easy to handle and apply. 3M repulpable web processing double coated tape R3227 is FDA compliant and complies with regulations for repulpable tape. 3M repulpable web processing double coated tape R3227 features a repulpable adhesive that prevents broke contamination from non-repulpable splice material.
