Its small, simple and very important for keeping your 3M automatic HVLP spray gun operating like new - the 3M seal is a spray gun replacement part critical for maintaining a tight seal between the needle shaft and actuating air. This seal is made from durable PTFE polymer known for its non-stick, non-wetting and non-reactive properties, ideal for sealing in pressurized environments. 3M seals are provided in sets of two, required for maintaining a critical seal toward the rear of the auto gun. The seals are designed specifically to fit the 3M seal housing and to work with the 3M seal nut to create a tight seal for smooth, consistent auto gun operation. This durable seal is specifically designed to work with 3M automatic HVLP spray guns and is part of a vital chain of seals throughout the gun body to maintain accurate atomization and consistent pressure. Replacing just the seals can save equipment costs and let you keep your auto spray gun performing like new. The 3M seal is available for 3M 50+ series automatic HVLP spray guns, also known as series 52, 55, 55ZZ, 56, 56ZZ, 57 and 57zz. 3M automatic spray guns have been designed from the inside out for the effective, efficient, economical application of paints, adhesives, coatings and finishes. These guns deliver large spray patterns with very low overspray. The soft, tight, adjustable pattern with complete atomization results in a high finish quality and absolute control. The 3M 50+ series automatic spray guns are available with standard spray gun bodies featuring lightweight aluminum construction or with gun bodies and all wetted components built from composite material for zinc compatibility. Spray guns can be configured without modification for a full range of automated industrial applications and facilities including single or dual fluid inlets, pr-set or adjustable needle control configurations. Automatic spray gun systems can also be custom built for specific, robotic, remote control, stationary and reciprocator mount applications.
