Turner Supply is proud to share that Tommy Thompson, our Executive Vice President,has been awarded the prestigious 2025 John J. Buckley Lifetime Achievement Award by the Industrial Supply Association (ISA). This award is ISA’s highest honor, recognizing individuals who have dedicated their careers to advancing the industrial supply industry.
With an incredible 46-year career at Turner Supply, Tommy has made a lasting impact on our company and the industry. Beginning in inside sales straight out of college, he quickly proved himself as a leader and innovator. Over the years, he played a pivotal role in Turner Supply’s growth, guiding the company through eight successful mergers and acquisitions and spearheading some of our most successful integrated supply programs. His leadership also extended to our specialty departments, including Reliability and Conveyor Systems, ensuring Turner Supply remained at the forefront of industrial solutions.

Beyond his contributions to Turner Supply, Tommy has played a major role in shaping the industrial supply industry as a whole. As Chair of the ISA Board in 2014-2015, he led the association through a critical transition period, ensuring continuity and strengthening industry connections. His leadership, vision, and mentorship have positively influenced countless professionals in the field.

As Tommy transitions into a part-time role in 2025 in preparation for retirement, his legacy at Turner Supply remains strong. He has been instrumental in developing a long-term succession plan, ensuring stability and continued success for our company. His leadership and dedication have shaped Turner Supply into the trusted industry leader it is today, and his influence will continue to be felt for years to come.
